Lux Jewelry is jewelry made from LEDs and are designed so that the LEDs and battery are emphasized rather than trying to hide them. The leads of the LEDs are bent in such a way that the battery is held in place and won't fall out.
These earrings have two sides; an exploration in duality if you will. The only thing that changes between these two side is the absence or inclusion of a battery.
Without the battery, the earrings have a more subtle style. Something low-key you could wear in an office environment without drawing too much attention
With the battery, the LEDs light up completely changing the style. The same earrings one wears during a meeting for work on a Friday can also be worn that night partying with friends.
Style changing clothing and accessories is something rarely seen worn by the average consumer. Lux explores an elegant design, that with one simple move, is able to exist in duality.
